Filament doesn't fit through Rapido heat break
I'm getting my printer ready for its first print. When I tried to print, though, my extruder was skipping and the filament wasn't advancing. It appeared that there was a problem somewhere in the hotend (based on how far the filament was able to advance before it stopped), so I took the whole thing apart. It turns out that my filament- nice, regularly-sized 1.75mm filament from Atomic Filaments- doesn't fit through the opening to the heat break in the Rapido. The top part (the part that goes in the cooled area) is just a little too narrow. I ran the filament through backwards (removed nozzle pushed through heat break) and it gets almost to the top before it can't pass. Has this happened to anyone else? What do I do about this?

you over tightened the three screws, and ended up crimping the tube.

I hade the same thing on my rapido that I got pre-assembled in my ratrig kit. It is over tightened from factory. Just contact seller and ask for a replacement.
If i rember correctly you can widen the tube with the small allen key that came with the hotend. It has the perfect diameter for it. You can try and push it trough from the underside.
Thanks, all! I contacted Ratrig and they're going to refund the cost of the Rapido. I've ordered a replacement that should get here soon (fingers crossed!).
