Patterned FW straight fit chinos under $150
Any recs for retailers/brands to look at for straight fit patterned pants? They don't have to be chinos, but i would prefer cotton/wool or at least not tech/golf pants. Looking for anything from herringbone to plaid or houndstooth I'm not afraid to go wider so don't be afraid to hit me with BIG PANTS

Universal Works is the first thing that came to mind. They regularly do patterns, herringbone, wool, wool-check in a variety of cuts, from the straighter 'military chino' to wider braga, pleated and oxford cuts. F/W just dropped so prices are higher than your budget but UW is also real easy to find on sale/second-hand.
Thanks I'll definitely look into them i don't know why i didn't think about them before!
If you're open to secondhand, there's a golden opportunity right now, because most people aren't aware of big pants...yet. Lots of interesting patterned pants on eBay with pleats and high rises in the $30-40 range
Of yeah I'm always open to secondhand what are you using as search terms brands or just general description of the pants your looking for?
I need to write up a guide. I'll post some suggestions shortly
No problem thanks for your help!

Will do! Thanks for the suggestion!
tweak it to your liking (maybe add "patterned" or "glen" to the first parentheses) and filter down to your size
I recommend making filters like these and bookmarking them or using the saved search feature
btw if the ebay search bar doesn't allow you to type any more, just add it to the URL directly and it'll work

Buying dressy pants on eBay
Finding Dressy Pants on eBay tl;dr Figure out your range of sizes to search for, as described below. There's no shortcut here. Search for:(wool, linen, silk, cashmere) pants () -"j crew" -suitsupply -banana -suitsupply -"jos a bank" -bonobos -indochino -chaps -"Lauren Ralph Lauren" -...
Thanks to both you guys! I'll play around with the search terms a bit and nice guide! It will also be super helpful
yeah, there are sort of two approaches: a list of brands you know are good (what GSH suggested) and casting a wide net while trying to filter out junk, which is what I typically do.
I don't think either is necessarily better, and it's definitely worth playing around to see what works for you.
Incotex has some cool, wild patterns.
Yeah I've done both before! I tend to prefer searching brands for shirts and just generic terms for sweaters and coats. I agree tho neither is really better just different lol I've gotten better deals casting wider net but ofc that can take longer to find what you want cuz you do have to filter thru more results that aren't what you want at all lol
