Outside of cracks, whats the use for offline mode?

I find it very hard to believe that mojang/microsoft would intentionally add a feature designed to support and aid those with cracked accounts. It doesn't make much sense from a business perspective espeaclly when they have dedicated servers that verify each account when online mode is enabled as an anti-piracy messure.

proxies playing on servers when u dont have internet (but you do have a minecraft account) for example... if me and my buddies wanted to play minecraft on our xbox, but we didnt have internet, (we already owned minecraft and downloaded on our xbox) without an offline server we just wouldnt be able to play proxies the back end servers are in offline mode, and only the front end proxy is online. since it doesnt need to reauth multiple times on server switches, and lets u secure the server behind the proxy

There was a dad in here two years back who wanted to setup a situation for his daughters. They weren't allowed on the internet, but he had minecraft accounts for each of them. Wanted them to be able to play together on a schedule, and wanted help setting that up.
