custom API integration

Is there any option for custom API integration for a non developer like me I have gone through the documentation about custom widgets but still I'm looking for options to expose homarr, please guide me. instead of building my own dashboard from scratch as a non developer it would be very hard for me. I really like to use homarr. I even tried dashy.to but it's very complicated to configure and has lots of options jumbled up that would take time to understand dashy. I understand the security and I would be using any of this, thanks for the recommendation https://www.authelia.com/ or https://goauthentik.io/

Hi, it seems that you have two main questions: - Is it possible to extend Homarr's functionality without programming knowledge to add widgets, integrations, ....? No, it is not possible to do that. I already answered this question in our conversation before: https://homarr.dev/docs/community/faq#can-i-add-my-own-widgets-do-i-need-programming-skills...

I already answered this question in our conversation before: https://homarr.dev/docs/community/faq#can-i-add-my-own-widgets-do-i-need-programming-skills It would be doable to implement such systems, but as a small open source project, we simply don't have enough capacity to do it. - How do I secure Homarr: https://homarr.dev/docs/community/faq#is-it-secure-to-expose-homarr-to-the-www

I understand, right now I'm trying for multiple options I could work on as a small project with 2 of us it's very difficult for me to work on the development part. So finally I have chosen homarr after 2yrs because of budget issues. I know this is not containerised but still if you can have a look at the API documentation https://reemo.io/docs It could be useful for everyone who is using homarr It's a Remote Desktop Streaming Technology works in web app I have tried almost all of the alternatives mentioned in the secure homarr doc but none of them work for my usecase. And can't afford their costs

If you need remote desktop clients, I'd also suggest Apache Guacamole I have to admit that I'm a bit confused regarding your question to Homarr. How is this random software related? Do you want an integration for it?

Apache Guacamole would not be compatible for 3d Accelerated workloads like blender or unreal engine, reemo has webRTC at its backend but with additional features like drawing tablet, gamepads access from local machine and it even gives amazing experiences with local connections of as low as 3 Mb/s https://reemo.io/reemo-api as of now I'm not planning for building any dashboard from scratch for my use case as homarr would be enough with Authentication, for container based applications I would not require reemo but still there are some Legacy applications which I can not use without a full desktop environment for that I use Virtual Machine for now I'm using (nomachine) as opensource but even that is not smooth to work with 3d software's. using reemo would be the best option at this point of usage. I don't know how it works with WebClient - Reemo.js and API Reference so if there is a possibility of integration it would be really helpful and a option to use my own API key, then what ever payments from reemo will be in my account. After experiencing beta version of homarr a little this could exactly fit for my project, with admin and user authentication it would be a plus there is a Reemo for Organizations but one draw back in that is even if a VM is not running I have to pay for licenses https://reemo.io/reemo-studio that's the only reason I have chosen API integration. with this integration I'm thinking to use homarr dashboard as frontend for my team for both container apps and remote desktop hope you understand what I'm trying to say, the way I'm thinking is a question to homarr, but if this is not doable please suggest me any options which I could try for integration. another method I could try is - use homarr dashboard for docker apps and redirect it from a webapp and add another section for reemo integration. I don't know if this could work.

I don't think we'll ever make a native API integration for this. The amount of people using this tool is most likely very small. Have you tried to use the iframe widget?

ok no worries, I'll figure out something. yes I tried iframe widget but again for this I should have my own webapp with required APIs integrated then I could use this. And sorry for a long conversation
