"Island journey" Story mfg lookbook 1 (2015)
On the 20th of January (or, thereabouts) - Miles was wearing his Time Jacket while walking around Hong Kong. Renee saw it, liked it, and asked where it was from. They spoke about Story, Renee tried...
I wouldnt say these two photos speak to me "the most", but they are an example- I find slightly desolate landscapes to be very beautiful, and I am interested in clothes which would meld with those settings. As an example, these two seem to fit for me. I dont dress like this, but the muted color scheme and natural flow is something I'd like to incorporate more
I tend to refer a lot to JJVE collections and appreciate how he releases photoshoots/videos each season. My favourite run is SS21-SS22, particularly FW21.
I posted briefly about these in another context, but here are 9 images that act as core aspects of my inspo right now. I'm still in the realm of requiring human elements to refer back to for my garments, whether it has to be showing clothes being worn on the figure, or references to spaces and places that we inhabit and create potential out of. All of the images presented here demonstrate the use of colour in terms of indulgences. All of these scenarios demonstrate aspects of excess, both loud and soft, and utilize bold colours with anchors of white canvassing to justify their existence. As if to say "look how much can be done with some free time".
Love the color palette and the late 90s early 2000s feel
I'd love if you could elaborate on the late 90s/early 2000s feel, it's not something that immediately came to mind for me so I'd love to explore that further
I'm probably just picking the wrong decade but a lot of the shots have that slightly hazy film camera feel that I associate with media from around that time period

"How to Breathe" changed my life
For whatever reason my personal inspo album has been shared a bunch: https://imgur.com/a/0Kb1A8b
Funnily enough it actually lacks a major source of my current inspo, which is integrations of loud pieces. Theres some of it (mostly from the 4S lookbooks) but fits like the attached from it are truly my current inspo, love the loud shirt peaking out from plainer clothes. Currently searching for more inspo in this vein, as well as clothes in this vein lol. The other big missing thing outside of like charlie are the really oversized fits, which I find much more comfy and fun to wear.

I don’t usually save inspo but here’s some people and images that I’ve felt compelled by recently
This particular Ralph Lauren photo has been an inspo for me for years

Drake’s fall 2017 lookbook will always be my favorite source of inspo. I found it right as I got a new job requiring a coat and tie, and it was such a good contemporary take on classic menswear

We could think of no better setting for our Autumn Winter 2017 lookbook than the windswept terrain of the Shetland Islands.
Huh. The text on the back of the jacket is from "Just Like Honey" by The Jesus and Mary Chain. https://youtu.be/7EgB__YratE?si=6s-Q_8dznpSMvDHF

Yeah, I saw that in your original post. Re-watching the music video, I could see how the loose-fitting, all-black look would've been inspirational.
I had that bomber. The fit is really good.
