Can't login to overlay expert
Everytime I attempt to login to my overlay expert account on twitch I keep receiving this message...
Account already associated
It looks like you've tried to sign in using account that is already with another user on overlayer expert. Your account my have different emails so we where unable to correctly associated them together.
Please sign out and try again or to correct the association, contact support
Anyone know how to fix this problem as every time I attempt into twitch on overlay expert this message pops up

@Deleted User, are you trying link your Twitch account to an existing account, or are you signing in for the first time?
Yh I had it all set up was working fine, but now everytime I click the the login sign up button I keep receiving this message would love to try sign up again it won't let me because I keep receiving same annoying message
No it's fine he's obviously in the same boat as me as theres no option to resolve/sort this matter out
the first time you signed into overlay expert did you sign in with twitch or something else?
So you’re not signed at all, and when you click on sign in/up and then Twitch, you get the “Account already associated” error?
I am also having this problem anyone nnow how to solve it already have an account

I found your account and everything looks OK. You should be able to login just fine. Did you link any other accounts to your Overlay Expert account?
Not that i know of I only have twitch and only one account
Is there a way to delete the account and just make a new one?
Send an email to
[email protected] from the email registered to your Twitch account and we can delete the account 🙏My account was registered from twitch would it be the email I uE for that?

I'm also having this same issue. I signed up over a year ago using my ZevranaArcana Twitch name and suddenly I'm unable to log in and getting the same message as the original poster. Is there a way to fix this without having to delete the account and make a new one?
Edit: That Twitch account is the only account that should be linked to overlay.expert as I don't stream anywhere else.
did you have any other accounts linked to your OE account?
Nope, just Twitch. I've never had an issue with it until recently.

Hmm strange ... I see you're account and you only have your Twitch account linked so you should be able to login 🤔
Luckily it looks like I can still use my overlays as is when I stream, I just can't log in to edit anything.
Can you try a different browser?
Switched over to Firefox and it's still doing the same thing.
I added some more logging on the server to see if I can find out what's going. Can you try logging in again and message here when you try again?

On your Twitch account, did you verify your email address?
Verified and I have the two-factor authentication and everything.

OK I think I know what's going on ...
Can you go to https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections and Disconnect Overlay Expert and/or Overlay Expert Extension and then try signing into Overlay Expert again?
I disconnected it and deleted all my cookies from the site and it's still doing the same thing.
@Zevrana Are you somehow denying Overlay Expert access to your chat?

OverlayExpert from your channel/chat?I didn't think so and I just did /unban and /unblock just in case and it's still doing the same thing.
If we have to go the route of deleting my account and me just starting a new one at this point I get it. I don't know what's going on and I appreciate you working so hard on this.
It might take a few moments for the unban/unblock to take effect
