Non-ratrig endstop help

I ordered the wrong switches from Ratrig (wrong orientation) so I tried to get some third party ones off amazon. https://www.amazon.com/HUAREW-Printer-Horizontal-Mechanical-Miniature/dp/B0B38YP135/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=11IFQ28VYVBKW&keywords=3d+printer+horizontal+switch&qid=1694296126&sprefix=3d+printer+horizontal+switch%2Caps%2C94&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1 Can I get some help with debugging the pins? I maybe shouldn't have but I just plugged it in because the colors matched 😄 and I felt the cable get hot so I shut off the board and unplugged it. these are described as normally open switches

with no end stops plugged in, my ratos refresh says all endstops are triggered ok i thought to swap the red and white cables and the cable no longer gets hot and lights up when closed but ratos is doesn't seem to notice it's triggered Tried removing the ^ in front of the end stop pin definition in stepper config and it didn’t seem to make a difference in terms of being detected as open My superpinda probe does seem to detect as open and detects triggered in RatOS when I put something metal in front of it I haven’t tried x end stops connected to toolboard yet i think i might have figured out the issue, i didn't test it yet, but my printer config defined pg11 as y end stop and it mismatches the ratrig wiring guidance to use PG9 for Y ( ithink) yep that was the issue, diff port. i am now more like helge than the vcore build guide 😄 basically if using helge's btt octopus config, y end stop is configured to PG11 (right-most endstop port) as opposed to the one in the ratrig image
