Recovering BM server after deleted connection
In the process of claiming our new Host Havoc server's connection (https://discord.com/channels/202199157224636417/1150070380397068358/1150070380397068358), the owner accidentally deleted the existing connection that I was attempting to migrate to the new server. We would like to recover our old server for its activity/playtime data and set up the new RCON connection there.

i tried re-claiming it in the server page but glossed over the message saying it was a 7-day trial, and after a bit the server disappeared from our organization
HostHavoc servers are a tricky business. If you paid for RCON through them then the only way to claim the server is to use the link we sent via your email. Migrating stats from one HH server to another isn't going to be viable IIRC.
hmm thats unfortunate
for clarification, our old server was originally part of HH but was migrated to a VPS, so now we're attempting to do it the other way around
Don't think that's possible either.
HH would have to release the conection on the one that was originally theirs and you'd need your own RCON sub
but if you're trying to go from a VPS to a HH server, that won't work at all
wait, so if we did cancel the HH rcon subscription we would be able to use our own? or would they still own the address/port
Yes, you could claim it under a new RCON subscription if they released the old one
alright, ill look into that then
how long will the old server profile exist while we dont have it claimed? it appears our host havoc RCON might remain active until the next payment date
It'll stay claimed until the subscription for HH expires or they manually release it
they have both servers claimed? i thought the old one would be unclaimed, but tbf i had changed the IP before the owner deleted the connection
