PETG, what to adjust?
I haven't printed PETG on this printer before and not very much on my previous machines either.
The test prints are -x% from 100% EM, as you can see the -9 have visible gaps and the -3 does not.
But both looks smeared out on lower layers, how come?
It seams like the filament is "sticky" and stick to the nozzle and get smeared out.
Is this how PETG is if so what should I try to adjust, if not can this just be a bad spool?
(I have dried it for more than 6h in 55c)

I printed a lot of these so called tests, and in the end they usually only produce a big bag full of plastic garbage. look at the surface of normal flat surfaces of prints of yours and adjust from those on. if you have a filament which is really far off, theses tests can give you a ballpark figure to start, but then it does not have to be accurate.
the main problem especially with the test you're doing is that your layer calibration (tramming, z - offset etc.) will dominate the result

I've fiddled some more with petg but I can't get rid of the uneven texture on the benchy, what's causing it?

you should look into adrew ellis guide, just google for that. if you're sure you have tuned everything allright, jump directly into the troubleshooting section.
I hope somebody else will give you a more direct answer, but you don't have to wait with this advice 🙂

It's printing pretty well with PLA, this started when I loaded a spool of PETG.

PETG, even though it's said to be an "easy" Filament, is usually quite the pita. I am using a completly different Print Profile just for it, and it's (yet) the only one that needs a special one... its work to tune it 🤷♂️
