Right arrow key only works with modifier | windows 11
This is such a weird issue but it's been slowly driving me up the wall over the past few months. On one of my PCs, the right arrow key does not function by itself. It works when holding shift or control, but not by itself. It's happened across two completely different wireless keyboards (one some no-name brand, the second a logitech). weirdly enough, i just tried out keyboard tester (https://www.keyboardtester.com/) for the first time. When using keys, they light up on the tester and make a sound. Bizarrely, when using my right arrow key, it lights up on the tester but does not make the sound
If anybody has any suggestions or has had this issue before, please help.

open Control Panel>>Ease of Access Center>>Make the keyboard easier to use.
check if all the following three are turned off:
1>turn on mouse keys.
2>turn on sticky keys.
3>turn on filter keys.
This is a bit of a long shot, but have you had any humid weather lately?
not really, and like i said it affected two seperate keyboards
:( all off
It's probably something in your PC, not the keyboards.
@slashie101
i'm having trouble following this/finding the relevant stuff
oh i found this?
Yeah, it's usually this way, but it's worth a shot.
Beyond that, the main idea I've seen when I googled is to try and uninstall your keyboard drivers and try installing them again.
I also saw that this only really happens with USB keyboards, so if you have the combination port, can try to find a keyboard that fits there. Or vice versa.
thanks! it being a wireless keyboard is kind of important (since i have two keyboards on my desk) so i'd prefer giving up on that arrow key over switching keyboards appreciate the suggestion and the research!
