This is a discord for server related support. Not client crashes.

optifine is weird, sometimes it works with mods sometimes they just break for some unknown reason

I don't think the crash is individual to them though, everyone who tries to run the mods gets the error. It's for a server that's in the process of being made. Maybe that doesn't count since it's still technically client side. I've had people help me with client side issues here before though like issues with having an AMD graphics card with the create mod

Optifine is a client sided mod and the crash is a client crash. I'm not seeing how this is server related?

I agree it's client side, I was just mentioning that it's an issue with multiple people, but like i was saying that probably doesn't matter Biomes O Plenty is a popular mod, so im not sure if the issue was maybe commonly experienced and had a simple answer Since people who use biomes o plenty are likely to also use optifine or shaders

Correct, that additional context "doesn't matter" in this case. Most people here would still be glad to help, but it is technically out of scope for this Discord. That's all I was saying.

Does that just include the entire discord, or just the support forum

Optifine bad Use rubidium and oculus Rubbidium= render optimizations, needed for oculus Oculus= shaders

Optifine is closed source which makes super hard to find wtf it is breaking

I assume the answer to your question would be "it depends".

I don't want to break server rules by asking question in an incorrect place but i also wonder if asking somewhere else might glean a solution?

Well, Admincraft the community is more focused on the server side of the things. If the issue were on the server side it would be appropriate for this community. But a "why my forge mod crash my client" is more something fitting for a modded focused community, anywhere from r/feedthebeast to like the specific crashing mod's discord.

Again, not saying somebody won't try and help you anyways, I won't stop them. But there are other communities where you might get better client modded support.

They're fabric mods forked to forge Their original versions would be sodium and iris Most interesting part is that the 1.16.5 version of rubbidium still gets support, it had an update this year in March

Hallownest•2y ago
Unfortunately Rubidium is working but oculus is crashing
