Allen Edmonds Loafer Sizing
I know allen edmonds uses different lasts but is the general loafer advice of sizing down by half apply here? Also if anyone can recommend a wider fitting loafer last AE offers that would be appreciated! I'm pretty sure Cavanaugh is prolly the widest last they offer but i don't have that much experience with AE's loafers

If you go to a store they'll measure you and then you can just buy later when they go on sale
I'm a bannock 8.5E-9D (L/R), wear 10's in running/casual shoes, have a pair of Rancourt penny's in 9 that are 0.5 a size too big for me. I tried the AE Randolph in a 9.5 and it was WAY too small, couldn't even get half my foot in. Might have been a 1-off manufacturing error, but when I tried the 10's they were still super tight. I might just have a weird foot shape though.
Thanks honestly that's pretty helpful I'm a 8.5 E with rancourt moccasins in a 8.5 EEE that fit well, so I'll make sure to keep that info in mind with the Randolphs!
I’m a brannock 11C (a touch on the narrow side) and I wear the standard sizing
I have never sized down on their loafers. On one I made the mistake of going 9D instead of 9E.
