War thunder wont launch

it won't launch now since you've forced proton as opposed to the linux port?!
oh fuck i wonder if it's the nvidia driver issue ðŸ˜

just use the steam linux runtime for now
to do that, force that in the same properties that i said to force proton experimental
the textures will still be broken because the linux port has issues
but at least it will run

yeah thats the issue with the linux port
devs never bothered to fix it
it's better to run the game in proton but like we're seeing theres an issue with proton and your setup
if it's nvidia then thats in nvidia's hands to fix their drivers on linux
ahhh but i saw war thunder has a linux version so do i try that off there launcher ?
you're running the linux version on steam
steam uses the native linux port by default unless you force proton
the linux port is broken
it needs to run the windows version thru proton
