lods between detail boundaries not rendering correctly 1.20

as in the picture there are multiple of those square angle gaps on the outside and smooth (rounded) inside, using different presets show different gaps, i know i loaded them all as they will show up from different distances and angles. i think i broke some settings, or the lods are not loading properly. they seem to be at the boundary of different detail or so the debug shows them to be. happens at all the boundaries high-medium medium-low ecc any help? it's multiplayer decent machine 8 cores amd cpu 64GB ram 8GB vram amd gpu linux , fabric 1.20mod from the link on this discord a few days old (less than a week)

Except its not overdraw issue, as those chunks are far away already in lod area. Looking at water it looks like dh 2.0 It looks more like if when you were there the first time it didn't save properly all detail levels

Yeah Ive been having this issue too but on a much smaller scale, what usually works for me is going to that area again and giving it a bit more time to generate all the detail levels

ok i'll do a new fly-by ill update you if it fixes it btw it's on 30fov at 320y height so it looks big but it's far like really far

Thanks i just saw the reply as notification didn’t see the thread Fix is indeed to revisit those chunk as they fade in and out it’s hard to pinpoint their location, so i recommend to use the debug show render source flag to know where you have been

Some debug info on generation progress is planned iirc but Im not sure if it will work on multiplayer @MartinDxt Do you still need support or can I close this issue?

Close it, fix is to fly over the area again in debug as mentioned above
