You set default to 1 so not even that is added?
but if the file is not empty, i setted it to the $file->count()
dd your $get() to see if it has value
also i don't understand why you do map here? when you just return count from the $file
i tried dd() but nothing happened

does you file field has
live()?i use reactive(), it is v2
