i would like to know how can I find a documentation about creating pbr texture in fabric
Hi, I would like to know is that possible to have a link to a documentation who explain about pbr support, because I want to switch to fabric for my optifine pbr resource pack and I don't find any documentation that explain what i'm looking for.

basically i'm in 1.16.5 version with the last version of iris shader
PBR is the same for optifine or iris
ok but they are actually not working for me
do you know a shader who support pbr and compatible iris ?
were you using a shader before on optifine?
yeah
it should work
seus renewed
but in 1.12.2
so idk if they've changed their system since these version
that's why iris and optifine get updated
to work with the newest mc version
yes, but I mean I don't know if they've changed their pbr system since then
in 1.12.2 we only added "_n" and "_s" after the texture name for both normal and specular textures, and it worked perfectly. now this technique obviously doesn't work with iris in 1.16.5, so i don't really know where to look, because the optifine documentation talks about modifying a "texture.properties" file in assets/minecraft/optifine, which obviously doesn't exist on fabric with iris.
it should work. Have you tried another shader that supports SEUSPBR or LabPBR?
actually no
do you have any compatible shader names?
complementary reimagined
I just tried
not working
did you change RP support to SEUSPBR or LabPBR?
RP ?
in shader settings
how can I do that ?
RP stands for resource pack
video settings -> shaders -> shader settings
ok that is better, I have shadow in the texture but not pom
the texture doesn't really stand out
I'm not sure if you know what I mean.
I do know what POM is yes but I don't know how a resource pack gets it to work
I think all it needs is the normalmap for the shader to generate POM for
yeah same for me and there's no tutorial about it
