mod server
I created servers with spigot for a long time. I'm trying to create a server with forge, but finding it very difficult. Are there mods that replace server management plugins like luckperms, essentials, economy etc?

essentials has alternatives for forge yes, luckperms has a forge version
economy is weirder tho
Ftb utilities is decent as a essentials alternative
altough running public modded servers that arent for friends only is a mess
Oh I see. How do big servers manage to organize this? For example, how do pixelmon servers manage to be stable?
developers that do that
spongeforge is good lets u have some more admin tools available
but only works for 1.12.2 and 1.16.5
public modded servers for forge are only viable for 1.12.2
pixelmon servers the last time i checked are 1.12.2
if you are wanting to make a modded server for friends then any version works
I want to create a public server
Whenever I ask about hybrid servers, I've been told it's pretty bad
spongeforge isnt a hybrid, the sponge api was developed with modded servers in mind
while hybrids like mohist are spigot forge hybrids, the bukkit api was never designed to allow for modded content so they are buggy at best, downright incompatible at worse
Are there plugins for sponge? Is that what you mean?
sponge has spongeplugins yes

Oh! This looks like a light at the end of the tunnel. How is the community? Is it active? Do developers support and update frequently?

Hello!
I absolutely forgot of this thread
Spongeforge only support forge 1.16.5, 1.12.2 and a few other versions
Higher than 1.16.5 isn't
Iirc there's many projects that work with sponge
