Basically, I am creating software for a computer simulator and an operating system, and it is supposed to be such an online game, and the question is how to do it online in (Window Forum).

Ok, so like this, I'm creating an online simulator that actually simulates an operating system like Windows and you can bully people there and get money of course everything is virtual and not really it basically teaches you when it's a virus and when it's not and it's really, really cool and it's a game simulator that will come out in 2025
What do you think of this idea?

Tbh you should go for WPF or Avalonia, using Winforms would add more headache down the line

It.will come out in 2025How have you estimated this? Do you have a clear development plan? Have you researched all of the necessary features and requirements for making this a reality? Are you sure you want to do this in WinForms/WPF? Have you considered Unity? Or even Godot, Game Maker, etc.?

take what you want in your game and divide the content by 4 and multiply the time estimation for the original content by 3
if you want another person to develop with you multiplay it by 4 instead
in addition to all of that it would make more sense to develop the entirety of that in godot with C# in 2D environment

i can promise you that you will work at max 3 months on your idea, discard it and think its ass
then start something else , get more knowledge and restart again with more knowledge
its not a straight line from idea => release
its a jungle of unpredictable decisions
dm sucks on bigger discords and is not likely seen
also you wont find someone when you dont know which tool you want to use
a wpf developer wont say yes to a godot game etc

if you apply to a developer job you want to know which tools that company uses and what the aim is, you dont apply to a "good dev in everything" except you are on the edge of living or a javascript devops
