Talk me into/out of buying this
I've had my eye on this y/project jacket for a while and can now get it for a pretty reasonable price. I love it but feel I would struggle to wear it. Trying to work out if it's a case of my style developing in this direction, or if I'm gonna end up buying something I never wear yet again 🤦. Any opinions would be very welcome

Do you see it working with your existing wardrobe? It leans towards a statement piece and if you don’t have other elements that play nice with it, you may find yourself wearing is infrequently.
My existing wardrobe is pretty empty. I've recently sold a lot of stuff and I'm trying to rebuild it. So it's complicated. I agree it's a statement piece and it probably wouldn't be the wisest purchase
What I like is that it takes the idea of deconstructed denim but I think presents it in a pretty wearable way. And sometimes you just really like something you know
I would say that if it’s something that’s been sitting in your head rent free for awhile, it couldn’t hurt to get it and release if you find yourself not liking it as much in person. You’d just have to be ok with the hassle of reselling assuming it can’t be returned or is outside of a return window
Thanks, this is helping me think about it properly. In this case I think it's a question of liking the fit and the idea behind this, but it being the wrong material for me. I would be way happier if it was black denim. So if in doubt, and with something expensive it's gotta be a no
