Wide leg, cotton casual suit options?

I'm UK based My old Uniqlo U black seersucker unstructured suit has been my casual suit for years but the seat of the trousers are finally giving out and I think it might be time to find a new one. I'm after a matching trouser and unstructured+unlined suit jacket combo ideally in a casual fabric like cotton although I'm open to other options. Colour-wise I'm pretty easy, just no blue. I'm also looking to modernise the silhouette with wider (like >22cm leg opening), higher trousers and potentially a double breasted jacket. Generally I'd prefer it to look a bit more refined than an Engineered Garments or Universal Works style suit. For instance, I like a front crease on the trousers and good sized lapels. That's not to say I couldn't be convinced otherwise by the right suit. Anyone know good places to look for such things? I'll put like £800 as my max but lower would be nice, I am replacing a Uniqlo beater suit after all. Feel free to post more expensive stuff too, I'm looking for inspiration

Seconding mfpen and still by hand - auralee fabrics can be a little fussy to be a beater. Since your budget is decently flexible you could check out Studio Nicholson, Margaret Howell, or Lemaire. Their cotton fabric options tend to be cheaper than other stuff. Unfortunately we're entering the AW season so most of their suiting being offered rn are wools... but you could do a lil searching

This by Lemaire is pretty lovely but would set me back almost 1.4k lol

I'd probably sooner consider sub 500 tbh, I just set the number higher for inspo reasons I think what I really want is just for Uniqlo U to do suits again 🙃 Mfpen is nice I feel like there's got to be some korean brands out there doing stuff like this

Eastlogue and Nanamica might have something.

Oliver Spencer worth a look. You can put a crease down the front of a pair of trousers easily and if they’re cotton you’ll have to press them regularly as it won’t stay in like in a wool pair.

I'd have a look at the matches sale and see if you can can get something from summer on discount

These are both interesting prospects, Nanamica especially. Although I think I should probably move away from polyester bc microplastics.

Are you in London? Margaret Howell usually do a sample sale in September. I’ve got lucky there in the past

I'd prefer linen to cotton in most cases, personally.
