I can do it for you
But please remember
That it's experimental
If you use it for production, stuff might break, your world could get corrupted, etc
the bleeding edge is the only thing i know in this line of shit
so i dont show much of mercy
Bleeding edge?
why would u want to use Folia if u dont want to mess with it
I guess they want to check out a lil bit in folia
i dont want to mess with the compiling process
so can you do it for me @1who¡ssus?
I'm on it
thx man
They don't recommend this. Do it yourself if you want the jar file
👀
thanks for the headsup man
relly
you mind if i upload to gdrive?
@V3rS0 its done
thx mate
np
I guess they don't recommend this to avoid ppl sending jars with malware instead of a real compiled jar right?
no
its made to be inaccessible to the random dude
as they arent supposed to run folia
its not production ready
yeah
no, it is to help prevent people like OP from getting the jar without "knowing what they're doing"
aha
And then complaining when folia isn't just a drop in replacement to paper.
Please OP take this in account when using folia
do not think of using it to make an smp
there's a reason you cant dl folia compiled like you can do with paper
i do beliive me i have a off network lab that i use to test that kind of expirimental staff
i just dont have the knoladge to compile it myself correctly
I see
Then you definitely SHOULDN'T be using folia.
It's pretty ez
first you clone the repo
- git clone https://github.com/PaperMC/Folia
Then you search the files in your pc (in ubuntu a folder in home gets created with the name folia, cloned repos are stored in home)
Then you open a terminal in the folder of the project & run
- ./gradlew applyPatches
after its finished, run
- ./gradlew createReobfBundlerJar
GitHub

Fork of Paper which adds regionised multithreading to the dedicated server. - GitHub - PaperMC/Folia: Fork of Paper which adds regionised multithreading to the dedicated server.
then u get the jar
its stored in the folder of the cloned repo
/builds/libs
Thanks man ill think that i will give it a try
