which suit looks better?
Im thinking of getting the second one taken in a little on the chest/waist.

2nd looks great
I’m a fan of both but I really like the slimmer look but it has an odd fit in the armholes. I’m kinda biased because I’ve only worn slim fit clothes my entire life.
2nd. 1st looks too tight imo
The 2nd suit fits a lot better than the 1st.
There is a substantial collar gap on #2, but 1 is too tight in the shoulders

Yeah, as stated. You showed us #1 before. It's a tight boi around your shoulders and upper arms. If you ignore that ... it's quite workable ;) the second on on the flip side has a much more classic fit but has noticeable collar gap. It is possible that you just need to adjust it a bit and it's sitting wrong on you, or it may just not be the right shape for you.
