Meermin Oxfords fit

Toe box feels good, heel too, just feels like the leather is very inflexible which makes it a bit hard to put them on and I can't pull the laces as tight as on my old worn in and possibly a bit oversized Brogues. I've heard the leather being stiff is normal for new Meermin shoes so I'm thinking this is a good fit? I tried the shoes on at 5pm after work, so my feet are as large as they'd be.
