Design Feedback
hi i just started my journey to learn ux ui and this is what i made it is a simple hero section. I like it, but it's too simple. I feel that something can be added. Can you give me some suggestions

I'd start from the fundamentals
What I mean is: I see a decent amount of people who try to do this bold trendy style for hero sections without learning what makes a good hero section
it is a regular font weight and what's wrong there
The font-size is super big and doesn't mesh well with the other elements imo, at least not in the current iteration
Center alignment looks off here
Line-height for hero title is too large
Value proposition is generic and doesn't really tell the user what makes you different or what you actually do
You should add some texture/imagery other than image inside the heading
No call to action
I literally got a video with everything you said, thanks I will take everything into consideration
nice! hope it helps 🙂
Hey Gio, working with large typography can be challenging, but also very rewarding. There's been a lot of design work in the past that has found a few best practices
1. to create visual interest, altering the sizes and/or the colors of the text can have a big impact
Notice how in all of these, different weights etc, make a lot of visual interest
2. Another good technique is to align the edges of the text. Notice how allof the above are not just centered, but left aligned or justified
here's another example, see how both edges are lined up, and work around the image. So this is pretty similar to your concept
here's my portfolio, I also went with extremely large text and just got rid of a hero entirely. Since this is a creative project and not a commercial one, you can have a lot more leeway in how you do the design. You don't have to stick to the traditional web 2 style layout of every page. Because, your portfolio work will show that you can do that style too
Finally, I agree with Vince 100%, this is not an easy or introductory style to get right. It would be good to tackle and learn the basics first if you are just beginning your journey
