Hello sir/Mdm,
I was using your $5 developer plan before the plan change and I was reading the patch notes where it mentioned that developers before the plan change will be upgraded to hobby plan for free. However, now Iām not on any plan now. Would appreciate any advice on this thank you!

I'm sorry but you must have been mistaken, only people who qualified for the waived fee would have been moved over without any interaction needed, you would have got many notifications for the last few months asking you to upgrade

I paid $5 usd to railway
when
you would have had to pay a non zero bill sometime before July 3rd for it to count towards qualifying for a waived fee
wayy before july 3rd, i paid $5 usd to get the developer plan
thats why when i read the docs i assumed i would get it
back before the transition, the developer plan didn't cost 5$, you are thinking of the hobby plan
either way, im sorry you didn't qualify, but if you want to continue using railway you can upgrade to the hobby plan at your leisure
how much did the developer plan cost?
i remember that i had to top up once to get upgraded to developer which remvoed the cap on my hours
it was considered free, free unless you used more than 5$ of usage
which i did, and hence i didnt have a cap on my hours
the developer plan didn't have a cap on hours, just because you didnt have a cap on your hours doesn't mean you paid
yeah, back then it was the free plan or developer plan, the free plan had a cap of 500 hours while the developer plan didnt have that
if i wasnt under developer plan, then what plan was i under so that i removed my cap of 500 hours?
you where on the developer plan, im not sure where the confusion comes from
the reason why I didnt pay before 3rd july was because after reading the notes, i assumed that the fee would be waived as i was under that eligiblity

and how long is the fee waived for?

a credit load is not considered a bill payment, correct
and it is also not considered "paying for the developer plan"
so i would have to use up my $5 credit to be considered?
then i would mention that the patch notes was not clear. i assumed that my top up was considered paying
the blog posts where not clear, we agree there
plus my program was low resource consuming and it would be impossible to use up 10 usd a month when there was the $5usd free every month

there is not
the waived fee qualifiers where decided before july 3rd
