I can't find where I can change my payment method to pre-purchased credits... Can anyone help me? https://docs.railway.app/reference/pricing#credits-as-a-payment-method

you'd need to cancel the usage based plan and sign back up to the credit based plan, but before you do that, could you tell me why you want to be on the credit based plan?

What do you mean by "you'd need to cancel the usage based plan and sign back up to the credit based plan"? I need to cancel my subscription? I want this payment method to have control over my spending.

yes, and then sign back up to the credit based plan instead i honestly cant recommend the credit based plan, theres a minimum credit load of 10$ and unless you plan on ignoring your emails, it would be pretty hard to get hit with an unexpected bill

Right, and isn't there an option to disable automatic payment or to set a limit? (unfortunately, there's no telling what the future might bring...).

i really do understand where you are coming from, but honestly credit based isnt worth it

like i said, as long as you look at your emails once a day, it would be decently hard to get smacked with a high bill

even if you did end up with some runaway for loop, you see the email for an estimated use of 60$, fix it, and then be back to normal resource usage, and then youd maybe only pay an extra 3$ for the bug, speaking from experience there, having to manually load 10$ in credits every month to two months really isnt worth it
