How to get Iris to work with Forge mods
I've been trying to see if I can play modded minecraft with Iris on but I can't seem to get the tab to appear anywhere, I've tried to download the forge version but it still isn't showing up
could someone help?

iris doesnt support forge, neither does sodium
iris only supports fabric/quilt
Use optifine for forge. If it’s incompatible, the last option is rubidium and oculus, which is a buggy mess, so don’t report oculus issues to us or the shader devs if you try to use it
But I would first recommend seeing if your forge mods have fabric versions
a couple but not all
and I've tried to use Optifine but it seems like Optifine is being Optifine and refusing to work cus the creator is a hack who keeps their stuff close sourced
at least that's what the fellows at Create said about Optifine
Not nice to call the creator a hack. It’s illegal for the dev to make it open-source because it contains some of Minecraft’s code

but yea I've tried Optifine didn't work
Then your only options are switching to fabric or using the mess that is oculus
I'll use Oculus
I haven't had too much of a bad record with it
