Shoe Trees Recommendation
I recently got some hand made leather weightlifting shoes with a wooden heel that cost quite a bit. Even though they're weightlifting shoes, I'd like to take care of them as I plan on using them for a long time.
Can anyone recommend a quality pair of shoe trees? Amazon has lots of choices, but the last time I got a pair for my Red Wings I had to return them. The wood ended up splitting and cracking in less than a week. If anyone also has suggestions for a bag or something I can use to carry the shoes I'd appreciate it. I'd rather not toss them in my usual bag with my other stuff that can scratch them.

What's in your usual bag? If the leather's good the shoes can go in there. For shoe trees anything cedar is good, Nordstrom has them for $40 but they go half off pretty often
Nordstrom Anniversary sale has their show trees at $20 a pair. Nordstrom rack sells them for the same price all the time. You can can use shoe dust bags to transport them in your gym bag.
Woodlore or Alden are solid
Doesn’t Woodlore make the Nordys ones
Woodlore is Allen Edmonds, right? Right now, AE shoe trees are like $18 on amazon.
Not much really. Water bottle, lifting straps, car keys, notepad, a pen, smartphone. I think I'm gonna go with the Nordstrom pair.
Yes
I’m late but what kind are they? Antas?
Yes, Woodlore makes AE, Nordstroms, almost everyone. I prefer the Alden/Macy's trees tho due to the wider heel
oh wait I already got pinged for that. weird
