It’s a little odd. The collar doesn’t need to be a BD and I’ve never seen a polo with good collar roll so idk why you’d want a BD polo
Yes, in my opinion.
i agree, just needed to be talked out of buying one that is on sale
thanks
Well, if it's on sale... Cheap AND bad. A winning combo.
Good rule of thumb is to avoid buying stuff because it is on sale. It's good to keep an eye on stuff you want and see it goes on sale. It's the FrugalMaleFashion mentality of just buying stuff for the sake of buying it.
Don’t be FMF pilled. Buy stuff bc you like it not bc it’s on sale!
Well to be fair I am specifically in the market for a pique polo and happened to find one with a button down collar on sale
But I agree it’s a hard habit to break especially when you’re a broke bitch like me
J crew has some on sale and I think Uniqlo ones are even cheaper that that retail at like $30
Yeah I saw they j crew ones they seem nice. Was looking at Uniqlo too
It’s just a pique polo so I wouldn’t stress too much. Try the Uniqlo ones and maybe a j crew one in sale
If you're not committed to pique, Nordstrom Rack has some cheap slub polos that I think are decent. https://www.nordstromrack.com/s/14th-and-union-short-sleeve-slub-polo/6032536
Since we're linking NR... I got this and really like the fit https://www.nordstromrack.com/s/solid-pique-slim-fit-polo/6045800
(it's by no means an overly slim fit, I'm wearing L at 5'11/200lbs)
oh, is NR a faux pas?
I mean, I don't think so? Sorry if my language implied that. I more so meant it like "concidentally, there's also this pique polo from NR." Obviously folks will generally warn about lower quality at stores like NR, but you can still find very acceptable basics there (eg, they were just selling genuine retail items from Suit Supply there recently)
Not in the slightest
Nordstrom carries a lot of great brands like Wythe
not anymore they dont!
but yes nordstrom actually has a decent brand list rn
I like them because I have a lazy ironing collar tbh. I just like the way the collar stays more upright
