Best colors of pants/trousers with black & white houndstooth sport coat?

Recently picked up this sportcoat from Spier & Mackay and curious about styling recommendations with pants/trousers. I think it's pretty versatile, and charcoal is the obvious, conservative choice, but curious about other thoughts. I'd like to pair it with a nice pair of olive green corduroy trousers, which seems fine as it's being style with an olive green turtleneck.
