Anyone have experience with AranSweaterMarket.com (AKA Aran.com)?
I know people like their sweaters, I'm just not sure how the fit will be--I've heard conflicting things about their products running large, small, and true to size. I'm usually in between S and M for most upper body wear: about 5'10", 135-145lbs, and 36-37 in chest size for suits. Waffling between their size S and M (size chart attached, though again, I'm not sure how accurate it is or whether the fact that they're wool sweaters changes things), so hearing people's actual experiences would be good

They tend to fit large in my experience, and the weaves seem loose so there's a fair bit of play. I don't own any of their pieces but they have stores here in Dublin so I've tried stuff on.
Agree on the fitting large, I've tried a few of them on (in Dublin as well) while being slightly bigger than you S fit me best
thanks, will go with S then!
Here's my medium from them
Probably closer to 43-44 chest
With minimal taper down towards the waist. The fit is definitely a bit on the intentionally boxy side
I've been looking at this site for the last few days too! Was considering asking a question here.
@Gravel-Wagon would it be possible to get a shoulder/sleeve seam measurement on your medium? White with speckles of color is one of the ones I was considering!
I've got around 31
Oh I see, what I meant was the width from the top of the shoulder to the bottom (where the sleeve attaches to the torso). But I think since it's about 21-22 on the chest it should be good there! Do you have any opinions on if it's itchy? That's the only thing holding me back right now as I've never had a fully wool sweater before
I have the virgin wool one and it's a bit scratchy. I'd recommend merino instead though I don't have experience with theirs specifically
Gotcha. I'm thinking about getting the merino one but it's a shame some of the choices are different in regular vs merino. Thanks! Sorry for hijacking OP
