Is there a way to make sure notifications are always on top?

I have a relation manager create modal that triggers a notification under certain conditions, but the modal itself isn't closed when the notification is sent. it ends up looking like this... is there some settings i can change to avoid that? or do i have to close the modal while halting the create process?
