Anyone have experience with Olive? Looking to buy some tweed/herringbone trousers from them for this winter, i think their prices are not that bad, some looked cropped others look not cropped, anyone have experience with them? Shipping to USA

also curious, the kojo pants look great
oh i like those
werent these ppl dropshippers i forget
poked around on reddit
so its the same company upcharging hella in the US and outside of China?
Ooof
Nvm
possibly
i only saw a offhand comment on reddit but it's honestly hard for me to imagine a brand seemingly as big as olive dropshipping
or im naive idk
people don't seem to have complaints abt the quality when i was looking around the subreddit fwiw
yeah i saw that too, people say the quality isnt that bad, so i might give it a go
I bought olive it’s not drop shipped
Quality is decent
Dress pants have a lot of polyester
If you care about that
It’s pretty good stuff imo
My eyes are on the volk
Just keep in mind the fabric composition
But I’m v happy with my jeans
good 2 kno
thank you
Feels like some chinese company might just be copying them
maybe
do you own their trousers?
they seem well built
I own their jeans
Solid
I've bought a pair of pants once, but had to return them as they were too cropped. Quality was fine? The fit is the main selling point I would say. Don't expect too much
Regarding the accusations of drop-shipping, it's very hard to prove such a thing. But you can easily get some similar pants for cheap on china
I bought an acrylic sweater an a pair of ballon cords from them like chocolate brown a few years ago
I find their one-size top thing annoying (but thats just cause its too small for me, check measurements obv). The hook on the pants snapped off after several wears so I just wear them belted and they're pretty cropped on me. Just be careful
I have been wearing the same outfit everyday for 7 years and about 4/5 years ago I bought 4 long sleeve white t-shirts from Olive (upgrading from H&M) and have been wearing them everyday, (washing once a week, airdrying) - in the last few months the stitching has given way on one of them but the material is still as if I just bought it, I’m going to use the fabric for new pillow cases
I have no other experience outside of those clothes but I personal consider Olive to be pretty good based on this
I am aware how mad of a anecdote that is but it is accidentally a very thorough test of quality lmao
In the best possible way, what the fuck
I defer to you then
I’ve been training all my life for this moment
Olive is run out of a shared office on a tiny industrial estate in the UK. They are 100% a logistics/branding operation for Chinese stuff. It's not drop shipping but it's probably only a few steps removed from it. But similarly to Bronson, the stuff seems ok and it turns up so does it hugely matter?
find the differences
lol found this shirt in taobao. with the exact same buttons as olive clothing
Common wisdom is to buy shoes from shoe brands
I own the volk trousers I like em and I think theyre decent quality
any idea if they sell them uncropped? or they only cropped?
On cropped
Only cropped haven’t seen uncropped
