can you paste the info here please? And what shader are you using
shrimple
i am useing fabric 1.20.1 mod:iris-mc1.20-1.6.4.jar
when i tried it with some adjustmentswhat "adjustments"? and pasting the info will be beneficial
i shanged some settings in the shader and halfway thru it broke
what info do you need?
ók
net.minecraft.class_2973: Invalid shaders/core/basic.json: The validated expression is false
it's probably a problem with the shaders. Delete one line at a time in your settings file until the shaders load again, so that you can find which setting causes the shader to fallback, then report the problem to the shader dev
all the shaders dont work so its not just shrimple its also bsl seus complementary shaders
ok
try with only iris and sodium then, if it's falling back with every shader
i reser everything and it still dont work
ok
it works
then a mod you have is conflicting with iris
The Thanos Method
What is The Thanos Method?
- The Thanos Method (more accurately known as a binary split) is a debugging technique used to find the mod or mods that are causing the issues you are experiencing.
How does it work?
- The Thanos Method is simple. To find the conflicting mods, split your mods folder into 2 groups. Remove one group, and test in-game. Keep the group that has the problem, and repeat until no more mods can be removed without the issue disappearing. Thanks to The Thanos Method, you can now enjoy an issue free modded Minecraft!

ye now it does that thing again
net.minecraft.class_2973: Invalid shaders/core/basic.json: The validated expression is false
so keep doing the thanos method until you've found which mod causes it
i got rid of all mods
it shouldn't matter, but try taking out fabric api
fabric api is needed to load mods but ok
not iris and sodium
well they have it bundled inside themselves already, so they don't need the fabric api jar
ok
i found the issue its the shader itself (srimple) having a setting in shadows and if you set it to cascaded then it breaks and will not work
sooo having cascaded shadows enabled breaks all shaderpacks?
yep
interesting. @IMS might want to take a look at this
i can screen share so you can see the result. yes,no?
nvm there is no vc
I think all he will need is a latest.log, which can be found in .minecraft/logs
