Phantom deployment
Hello all,
I've noticed, similarly to other users, in the last day or so I have experienced the phantom deployment of one of my services.
I had a cron job running which is unable to be stopped. I have removed all deployments but this has not fixed the issue.
Is there a way to stop this from happening in the future?

I've removed all active deployments but I know the cron job is still running because it's running the job now π€
and what makes you think its running the job
it runs a job which updates my database and adds new items to a collection based on some conditions, but there was a bug I fixed (it is running an old job)
how often is this job running
it's running every 10 seconds lol
I updated the schedule in the latest deployment
but only noticed the issue this morning
the minimum cron interval is 1 minute
oh sorry, i'm not using the cron schedule from railway
it's using the cron library on npm

railway cron has been temporially disabled, your in code cron is plenty good, and is how i do most scheduled tasks myself

was there an issue with deployment in the last day or two? if that's the case, could there be multiple deployments i can't see?
can I ask when did the phantom deployment occur? since my app is in the same situation
theres been a few issues with deployments in the past little while, so yes its possible there could be multiple, and for the time the phantom occurred, unfortunately i dont have that insight as im just a community member

i had some issues with slow deployment but it was fixed last night it seems

mine is around 1:00 AM UTC+7, at that time it seems there's some problems in the Deployment Layer (the web told me that info)
maybe that's the cause
mine was UTC + 8
so yeah it seems like the same time actually
just checked again and it looks like it's fixed

I contacted them via feedback email (feedback@railway.app) and just now, they sent me the reply that the problem has been fixed
no problem at all. is there a way we can try to mitigate this stuff in the future?
