M65 Field Jacket. Which size fits me best?
So i finally got my hands on a vintage M65 Alpha Industries field jacket (medium regular size) from ebay a little while back. Haven't the chance to wear it out yet due to summer weather. My initial impression was that it was too baggy and that i should either downsize or get it tailored. I ended up buying a small regular aswell, with the intention of selling whichever i won't keep.

Honestly, i'm not sure which one to keep. The smaller one is a little tight around my upper back and behind my neck, but nothing too crazy. I understand the vintage m65 jackets are meant to be loose, but i can't help but feel like the medium regular is just a little too baggy? If i keep the medium sized one, perhaps getting it tailored might help?

Medium for sure and I wouldn't have it tailored. These were issued jackets, not meant to be tailored to an individual. A looser fit is good
Seconding that medium looks good. Wear it open rather than closed imo
Medium. Small fit like a shirt on you. Field jacket means to fit relax
Medium and yeah don't close it unless you need too because of weather
