Softest loafers?
I've got wide feet and a lot of structured loafers on the market don't really work for me. I'm not a fan of sizing up and having too much length in toebox. So, I'm on the hunt for a pair of moc toe loafers made with soft leather that will allow me to go true to size and still be comfortable.
Among higher-end offerings I've tried on the Gucci 1953 lambskin horsebit loafers and they are absolutely incredible, but I'm curious what else is available.

My unlined suede LHS from Alden are super soft and comfy. I wouldn’t go TTS but that’s just how the last is.
how'd you size them if not going TTS? half up?
I took half size down on Van last for my pair of LHS.
I think unlined loafers are the way to go, yeah.
I went a full size down personally but typical is a half size down for the Van last
Alden cape cod collection. The calfskin on those are so nice and they’re wide. I’ve seen listings with E and D widths
Jay Butler loafers get a lot of love for being soft and unstructured loafers. I don't own a pair myself but I think it's an interesting brand you should look up
My alden cape cod loafers are indeed very soft.
The leather on the Rancourts I just got is pretty soft.
