best fit of Uniqlo selvedge jeans?
I'm buying a pair of selvedge black jeans, wanted to know if the slim fit is good, or should I go for straight fit

That really depends on your wardrobe/desired fit & look, but speaking very generally straight fit is currently more "on trend". You should only buy them if they fit though.
My measurements for chinos are 34X32 and I'm 6 feet tall. On the heavier side
U pants look good, but I'm specifically looking for jeans

I bought a pair of slim fits in 2019 that are still going but I did find that they gradually shrunk over time and they now feel quite clingy! Something to be aware of
I have a pair of them in slim fit 32 long, they fit about how you'd expect em to fit. I'm on the slimmer side so they look fine, but I wouldn't recommend for a modern fit if you're bigger
we have similar builds I guess. I find that a wider fit is more flattering than slim unless you have a slim athletic build. Wider pants can make your torso look proportionally smaller, which may be what you're looking for, but it may not. You don't have to buy anything loose fit to start, but I would experiment with some slightly wider cuts. You might like the way they feel in your closet.
