Deployment crashes without description
My deployment keeps crashing with exit code 1 but without any error details. On my local machine everything works just fine.

Now it's fine but still I would like to know what was causing the problem, I didn't do anything.
oh I remember having something similar, ended up being my DB connection timeout
after increasing it, the crashes became rarer
Ultimately I switched DB providers and i haven't had something like that happen since

No, nothing like that.
Connecting to the Railway Postgres from my machine was working fine, but during deployment server was crashing with exit code 1.

yeah looks like your app is crashing in unexpected ways because its running out of memory, the trial plan has only 512mb of ram
No way my server is that hard π
But I probably will switch to Hobby plan when Starter goes away, I think it should be more than enough for my db and server.
