Chunky made server slow
Hi,
I’ve been pregenning this world for a while now, 50kx50k with radius of 25k, now that it is is finished, the server loads like 10 minutes slower than it used to. Now in console I’m completely getting spammed with errors that are shown in the pic, its nonstop… any idea how to fix this?

also my memory on the right seemingly only gets larger and larger, it never goes down
send spark reports
however I can’t send full logs or spark reports, plz understand it is for the privacy of my server, however I can probably send the spark report of someone with a similar issue
Lmao spark reports don't share private data
With no spark reports we can't do much. Maybe full logs would be helpful
"privacy of my server"? is your server offline mode? spark shares very scarce data, but just enough to determine the cause of lags

But mclo.gs will blur the IP
spark doesn't public the ip either

anyone should know spark doesn't share server ips
Generating chunks is the hardest thing for the server to do.
There's a reason why it is called "Pre" generating. You're doing it ahead of time. You aren't intended to play while it's going, though chunky will try to not cripple the server.
There's nothing "private" in a spark report.
Mclo.gs automatically hides anything sensitive from the logs.
"privacy of my server" is unnecessary obstruction here.
it says what plugins I have installed, I have been working on this server for years I can’t just give out all my info 😦
Nobody here cares "what" plugins you use in entirety.
Your server isn't important enough to us for us to try and rip it off.
that's no private information, anyone can easily get the plugin data

also if you're that concerned then maybe use a custom plugin, because everyone would know the famous plugins like CoreProtect, Essentials, and LuckPerms are on basically on every advanced server, so you're probably talking about smaller plugins which can be replicated
If you're concerned over somebody stealing your ideas off of a plugin list, you're focusing your fears into the wrong places.
if you change the configs enough, you can get a pretty unique server that no one would try to replicate
Or even can, even with a plugin list.
I’m not trying to upset you guys, sorry for my bias on sharing. I just figured maybe one of you has seen this particular error, and knew of an idea to fix it. Again, I’m sorry if I have offended any of you.

the information we have is extremely limited to actually determine what is the cause of this lag, we can't take your word for it just guessing that Chunky is causing this lag
I don't even know if you're on spigot or bukkit or paper

Or if you're on a 2010 xeon or a 2022 Ryzen 9 whatever ultimate gen 3DX
Or your real memory allocation or your startup flags

Binary search your plugins
Remove half of your non-essential (ie not things like PAPI or LuckPerm) plugins and see if the problem is fixed.
If it still persists, the cause is in the half still installed.
Continue to halve the remaining plugins until you've narrowed it down to a single plugin.
Congratulations, you found the culprit.
