how short is too short for this sport coat
I know the chest area is tight, going to a tailor to let it out
But how short can I go for the length of a sport coat? Can it pass off as a "style"? Just planning to wear in business casual environments

Are you asking if you should shorten it? Because you should not. Also hard to tell from stance and lack of long sleeve shirt but you might want the sleeves lengthened a tad
The arms look too short to me
I think the length of the body of the jacket is more subjective. It looks a bit short for my tastes, but it's hard for me to tell because my eye is drawn to the short sleeves and tight torso.
I think the jacket is fine for some bizcaj. Will also sit a little better after letting out the chest
I wasnt planning on shortening it. I was asking if it is too short as is
Nah you’re fine
Yea I'm planning on letting the sleeves out
Looks short to me tbh.
Needs an extra inch I'd say. Front is not level with crotch. Back doesn't seem to cover your entire seat.
It is short in body and sleeves
Shoulder is good tho
If i was you i would find something else
It's too short, it can't be fixed at the tailor, don't waste your money
It’s a touch short for classic tastes. If you’re in a pinch and have no time, it’ll work. If you have time, try for something longer.
It’ll work better if you’re younger than 35, won’t work as well if you’re over 35
???
🤔
Idk I’ve started coming to the conclusion that proper classic tastes/jacket lengths aren’t always received that well by a younger crowd
And I say this as someone who has classic tastes
Idk, i think that jacket looks more like a tee shirt in term of measurement, than a proper jacket. And i am 34 years old
Prob different stroke for different folks
I had a jacket made that was (is) a little too trendy. Fantastic fit, but I wish it was an inch, inch and a half longer. Don't make that mistake :)
