is it possible they are too long
or you can pull them at the bottom to have them pool more at the ankles rather than at the knees
They’re too tapered. Any slim tapered denim is going to get knee bags and lay like that
But aren't you supposed to have something like 1-2 inches loose on the calves? These kinds of jeans are the only ones that do that
The 511s look way too baggy on me
There’s not really hard rules on that
It’s down to what looks good
I would say looser jeans in a slightly stiffer fabric would look better
If you don’t like how they’re laying you’ll have to do something fairly drastic like a totally different cut (skinny or straight) or a much heftier fabric. Even with a heavy fabric they could settle into that look anyway
Doing both like what bishop said would work imo
I might give that a try
Thanks
These are a pair of Levi’s from the 90s in a straighter cut and likely a heavier fabric for example
I am also short (168 cm) and I have a hard time finding jeans in 30 inseam. Maybe that's also a factor
(All of the ones I showed are 30)
Hemming is the easiest and cheapest alteration you can do so it’s not too bad to just drop them off at the tailor or dry cleaner and have them take off an inch or 2
