I just picked this up thrifting and have no clue how to wear it

Its pretty doomed, sometimes you shouldn't buy something just cause its cheap at the thrift.
Try some collared shirts and see how it looks, the v is pretty deep.

I would try this with a collared shirt first, yeah. For deep V's a turtleneck has always suited me fine, but if you don't already have one in your regular clothes I wouldn't risk the extra spend to find out whether they work for you in this specific usecase haha.
