Ok just wanted to make sure, idk if black sport coats are ok or black dress pants are ok maybe they come off as too formal or out of place
Black dress pants are not verboten but yeah they are kind of out of place. Not nearly as much as a black suit is, but I'd stick to charcoal in most cases.
Basically everything you want out of black you get out of charcoal, plus more. Not everything, but basically everything.
