am asking so i can tweak my pricing on my software to accommodate railway charge/fee
wow this explains alot! i think this should be added to the pricing page thanks for the help boss!
oops
accidentally deleted it
the developer plan sadly doesn't exist anymore, what railway has now is hobby, pro and enterprise
- with the hobby plan, you pay 5 dollars a month ( and that includes 5 dollars worth of usage ) ( best for hobbyist developers )
- with the pro plan, you pay 20 dollars per person on the team ( best for companies that're currently working on a product )
- and with enterprise, you can talk to railway to figure out a pricing plan that works for you ( best for companies )
with each plan, you pay as you use the service
- you pay 10 dollars for every gigabyte of memory your product uses per month
- you pay 20 dollars for every CPU core your product uses per month
- and you pau 0.1 dollar for every GB of network egress you use per month
for example, if you're on the hobby plan, you pay 5 dollars a month
if your service uses more than 5 dollars a month then you pay the extra with the rates I mentioned in the previous paragraph
you can learn more here: https://railway.app/pricing
@fragly i cant see the message
my discord is bugging right now
okay thanks
thanks boss

Hi, so if i only use 3 dollars of usage on the hoppy plan, i still pay 5 dollars a month?
So minimum 5 dollars?
Hey! Just want to note, since this is your company deploying on Railway, you should be on the “Pro” plan. This will give you a direct support line to the team in case of any emergencies
Yes
I am confused by this pricing page. For example the pro plan says $20mo per seat for 32GB RAM/ 32vCPU, which obviously can't be right. However when you scroll below it says $20 per vCPU core. that sounds more like it. So in actually those 32vCPU would be $640, is that correct? Not that I am going to need that but just trying to get an accurate picture for scaling. Trying to figure out what service I want to use for my database.
Please make your own thread, happy to explain pricing there
I see, sorry I thought it usually best practice to ask in an existing thread that's already about pricing. Will create a new thread
No worries, since your question needs some in depth context it's best to make a new thread
