Entity Render Distance
I have a small server (5 players max) and a capable computer with the Purpur Engine. The problem is we are trying to get the sniper duel achievement (shoot and kill a skeleton 50 blocks away) but the skeleton disappears at around 40 blocks, no matter what we do. Even if we shoot into the spot where the skeleton would be, it doesn't register the achievement. I've tried messing with entity-activation-range and entity-tracking-range in spigot.yml, and with entity-broadcast-range-percentage in server.properties, and they don't seem to be doing anything. This also happens with every mob in the game, as shown in the clip (right side cropped because of usernames)

Did you change simulation distance?
it turns out it was a default lunar client setting, under the performance tab, i didnt even realize that was something that lunar changed
