problem with installing the shaders
hi, so i cant install the shaders, whenever i execute the installer it just doesnt open ( i have java installed and fabric)

If you have fabric already you can just download the mod jar from modrinth and put it in your mods folder
You'll need to install sodium the same way as well

and another question, does this work with other shaders? like without using java
you won't need to run anything special once you launch fabric with sodium and iris installed. You will always have java in some form though, because minecraft itself runs on java, but the launcher has an isolated version of it which you can't use to run other programs like the installer

As a side note, the iris installer is meant for people who want to install fabric, iris and sodium all at once in the vanilla launcher. Since you have everything but iris already you don't need the installer.

running the installer requires any version of java, which isn't installed for normal users nowadays since minecraft uses its own version

sometimes after installing java, jar files still can't be opened, in which cases jarfix comes in handy

well it didnt work
i put the iris shaders on the mod folder but it didnt work anyways
you put the installer in the mods folder, not the mod.
