Which J Crew T Shirt?
Broken in, or garment dyed slub cotton? What's the difference?

"broken in" generally means the tee has been washed a few times to give it a softer, worn feel. "garment dyed" means that the tee shirt was dyed after it was sewn together (as opposed to the thread itself being dyed), this usually results in a slightly stiffer texture for the first few wears. "Slub" refers to irregularities in the fabric which will give your tee (or whatever other garment) a slightly fuzzy, nubby feel when you run your hand over it.
ive owned both and found the slub cotton ones to be better. the broken in ones get holes pretty quickly and are kinda crap. don't have crazy expectations though. they're still just cheap tees
