does the hobby plan automatically charge you if you go over the $5 of usage? if it takes that amount from my credits, what happens if you don't have enough?

If you are on credits only, if you run out of credits, the project will stop

Any resource usage over the $5 will utilize any credits that you have. If you don’t have enough credits, and you are not on a credit based plan, it will charge your card the difference
is there a way to cap the amount so my project stops running if it can't utilise any credits

If you are on credits only, if you run out of credits, the project will stop
Though you need to load 10$ of credits to join the credit based plan, so it’s a bit counter intuitive
