why tf does it say my server aint lagging it is horribly lagging
this aint even because im screen recording
thats not server lag..
ur having fps drops
how can i fix that
well get optimization mods
use fabric
i do
get a better computer
i have sodium
macs arent known to be good at gaming -.-
my mac gets 70 fps on normal multiplayer servers
normal smps?
this isnt a server issue
but a client issue
I would install sodium, phosphor, lithium, and ferritecore for optimization and see if your fps improves
those are all for fabric afaik
all at once?
yea
ok
and then iris if you ever want to run shaders
ok well i downloaded lithium and my game runs way better but im still curious as to why i have frame drops, servers like hypixel run smooth and theyre massive
well open world
vs small premade hub
with void around it
not much to render in
i guess so
I'm scared by the fact that you thought that FPS lag is related to the server's resources
@olis use a Fabric modpack called fabulously optimized
iirc that one is full of bloat
I have to confess that I had to remove a few mods that were breaking
On a heavily modded server tho
There's another optimization modpack idk the name but you can see it on prismlauncher
It has way less mods
You might want to use prismlauncher since it's lightweight & overall a good launcher
You can even have it on background, it consumes almost no resources
Modrinth
Simply Optimized - Minecraft Modpack
A lightweight modpack to heavily optimize the game without any QoL improvements.
can you send the link cant find it anywhere
Modrinth
Fabulously Optimized - Minecraft Modpack
Improve your graphics and performance with this simple modpack. 1.20.1 out, 3rd anniversary soon!
This modpack has fewer mods and no QoL stuff but if you'll use other mods I'd remove C2me or VMP.
C2me literally destroys mods like create lol
If it ever gets a stable relase it'll be as good as folia getting stable
But that will take a long time
